National Institute for Educational Planning and Administration (Ondo, Nigeria)

 Negotiation, discovery and review of contracts and agreements, including Memoranda of Understanding, SLAs, NDAs, and IP licensing of training modules and programs.

 Managed contract lifecycle process from generation to storage. Initiated document storage transition from physical to electronic format.

 Worked with external counsel on legal disputes. Managed all aspects of case work from commencement of proceedings to final hearing.

 Revamped the workflow of administrative and legal departments to ensure proper legal vetting of relevant administrative matters.

 Managed the day to day operations of the unit in line with the operational mandate of the Institute.

Key achievements

 Contributed to the draft enabling law of the Institute, resulting in the multi-stage reading of the draft bill before the National Assembly as a prerequisite to passage of the bill into law.

 Implemented the insertion of alternative dispute resolution clauses into the Institute’s contracts, saving the Institute significant expense on potential litigation.
