DESCRIPTION

The Fitness Hybrid weekend is designed for everyone who wants to explore various ways of challenging the body and mind as well as learn recovery practices for optimal performance and long-term health. It is suitable for all levels with adequate progressions and regressions accessible. In case of varied abilities, we will split the group accordingly allowing all advanced / intermediate and beginners to get the best out of the training and practice. Our coaches are well versed and experienced in running all levels from absolute beginner to elite.

The weekend will expose every participant to different levels of intensity, various tools we use for training as well as teach mindfulness and ways to build resilience – both physical and psychological. It will show you the ways to explore and further your abilities.

Our weekend fitness programs will not only allow clients to experience various modalities and movement, they will get much more out of the retreats. With the trainers involved including myself, the attendees will get the understanding of the importance of loading, moving the body correctly and knowledge of the personal limitations as well as solutions on how to fix them. All participants will undergo movement screening and postural analysis which will expose any potential weaknesses and allow us to work on correcting them. The body can only progress if it moves in an efficient and correct manner, we will make sure to leave no stone unturned to bring our clients to optimal fitness. Sabina and her team work on building online support with videos, articles and regular meetups... the weekend should provide a great experience, but additional online information they can apply on a day to day basis will add value to the the experience.

Further down the line we will add specialised weekends and introduce variety of progressions that will allow beginners to advance to intermediate level etc links to these other weekend programs are in the 'other programs' section below.

SCHEDULE

  • Friday (evening)
    7pm
    Welcome meal, meet and greet, introduction, followed by candlelight yoga or meditation indoors or on the beach during warmer months

  • Saturday (full day)

    6.30 am
    run on the beach with some drills with a dip in cold sea water – breathing control etc. Light run to start the day in nature and experience elements  

    10 am - 11.30am After breakfast the trainer leading the strength endurance session makes time to speak to each participant and perform a quick postural analysis. This is the time when the clients get handouts or links to videos tailored specifically for their needs

    12noon – 1pm Strength Endurance training session
    – approx. 60 mins this will include the warm up. The main part of the session will work on correct lifting technique and improving fundamental abilities around movements like push/pull/squat/lift/rotate plus core engagement whilst moving as well as specific conditioning tools tailored to the needs of the group.  

    7pm -
    chill out time, or guided meditation or yoga on the beach for sunset (if its dark – yoga by candle light outdoors) (RECOVERY) up to 45 minutes

  • Sunday
    Morning workout on the beach, utilising the dunes, interval type, tag team, using sandbags, people and natural movement – more play, intense,

    Cool down with natural movement drills

    9am Breakfast
